Leicester Stories Gallery at Leicester Museum focuses on the stories and voices of people living in Leicester today - from the 1950s onwards.
The core content was created in 2020-21 with a co-production group of people from the city who selected the exhibition themes and have told their own stories. Leicester residents also proposed the milestones and people who are featured in the Gallery.
I worked with a group of residents to share their stories of living in Leicester to create the poem Semper Eadem (Leicester’s motto meaning, roughly, always the same). It remains on permanent display.
