A mother and daughter meet in a breast cancer clinic after five years of estrangement and are forced to confront their own and each other’s mortality. A darkly comic look at the mother/daughter relationship and what happens when it’s between two people who destroy each other. When a woman’s brought you into this world, and are you ever allowed to cut and run?
This play was written with a Peggy Ramsay grant and developed with support from Unity Theatre, Liverpool. A work in progress was performed as part of Up Next Festival 2024.
